Reports making the rounds suggest that Sergei Panteleevich Mavrodi, the founder and brain behind MMM, one of the world's leading Ponzi schemes, has died in Moscow, Russia after a heart failure.
Sources disclosed that on Monday night, Sergie Mavrodi had complained of feeling weak and having pain in his chest region and was immediately rushed to a city hospital where health workers battled to save his life. The emergency team reported that, Sergie died Tuesday morning after several hours of trying to save his life proved abortive

The news of Sergie's death comes as a consolation to the Nigerian populace who were defrauded of their money by the scheme a few years ago. Remember that the scheme kicked off in Nigeria in early 2016, and caught the attention of Nigerians from every nook and cranny of the country as it claimed to be a mutual fund organisation saddled with the responsibility of walking Nigerians to Financial freedom.
