It’s particularly high in vitamin B12, a water-soluble vitamin that’s crucial when it comes to growing taller and maintaining your height (Trusted Source). It’s also loaded with taurine, an amino acid that regulates bone formation and growth.

What’s more, chicken is loaded with protein, containing around 20 grams in a 3-ounce (85-gram) serving (Trusted Source).

Although the precise nutritional profile can vary a bit based on the cut and cooking method, chicken is also a good source of niacin, selenium, phosphorus, and vitamin B6 (Trusted Source).

  1. Thanks for sharing. Aside the leafy greens and yogurt, I take good quantity of the rest of the things on the list. I should consider adding more leafy green and yogurt to my diet. I don't think I'd grow taller though. I'd just take for the health benefits ☺

    1. It's a good plan. Not everyone loves beans so to say and they have different reasons; which might be because of the lond hours it takes to prepare or how it looks when prepared or even the aroma/smell.

Personally I don't fancy beans when cooked. But I eat in different forms (like akara) and it still gets to work for me. So you can adopt a style which works for you.

But make sure you are not missing out on any of the classes of food.

  4. So if beans makes me tall and i don't consume beans because i don't like it, does that mean i will remain short🤔🤔

    1. Hahaha... No not necessarily.

Beans is a body building food and is a good source of protein. However you may get protein from other sources such as milk, fish, meat and other legumes.

But when you keep away from protein, growth would be hampered as you might not grow to your full potentials.

However remember that height is hereditary but food is a necessity in keeping the balance
